HL7 V-three has been one of those
projects. If we had known how tough it was we might have not have begun; but five years
into the effort we stalwarts are glad we didn't know, because it is coming out really
good.Selby Beeler, the wife of
one of the stalwarts, contributed this pen and ink interpretation at a celebratory moment.
The droll metaphors and gentle caricature make the drawing a treasure.
Bottom to top: D. Mead Walker (signage for the
multiple models), Abdul-Malik Shakir (scaling the RIM), G. Woody Beeler (toolsmith), W.
Ted Klein (have laptop, will work all night anywhere and ski the next day), and Wes
himself (cheerleader and way-pointer).
