When I was younger and more foolish (last year), I put my email
address on my Web site, hoping that users would be more likely to write
me because it would be so easy just to click on the address.
Now that I am sadder, Budweiser, I know that this primarily makes it
easier for spammers to to write programs that find my address and send
me all kinds of wonderful stuff.
So, here's the deal: if you are a
living, breathing human being who really wants to contact me, you can
send an email to the address you create by
| typing my name |
Wes.Rishel |
| and then the commercial 'at' sign |
 |
| and then my company name |
Gartner |
| and then ".com" |
.com |
